LagNiappe Mission

Lagniappe Mission

"Lagniappe" (lan-yap) is a Cajun French term meaning "a little something extra." Lagniappe Mission is a 501c-3 non-profit dedicated to providing a little something extra for a world in need. Our desire is to serve marriages, parents, pastors, and young adults as they live with gospel confidence and courage as everyday missionaries. Rooted in a biblical worldview, we offer "a little extra"—through conferences, biblical education trips, ministry soul care, and missional discipleship—to bring hope, transform lives, and spark kingdom purpose.

1. Gospel-Centered Marriage & Parenting Coaching

Marriage and parenting in today’s culture are harder than ever. Couples are navigating shifting expectations, constant distractions, and real spiritual pressure on their homes. We know this firsthand—not only through years of ministry, but through our own marriage and family life.

With years of experience as Prepare/Enrich Facilitators and leading Parenting Conferences, desire is to come alongside couples with pre-marital and post-marital coaching that is honest, relational, and gospel-centered. This coaching is not about perfect marriages or flawless parenting; it is about dependence on Christ and faithfulness in the calling God has given.

Through intentional coaching conversations, biblical wisdom, and practical tools, we help couples grow in communication, deepen unity, and cultivate homes shaped by the gospel. Our aim is to encourage husbands and wives to love Jesus, lead well, and live the gospel—so that their marriages and families become places where Christ is honored and the next generation is discipled.

2. International GO Educational Trips (Greece, Turkey, Israel)

Walking where Jesus and the apostles walked transforms the way we read Scripture and live on mission. Our GO Trips are more than travel; they are discipleship journeys that deepen faith and ignite gospel urgency. Through historical and biblical teaching, we equip believers to see the world through the lens of the Great Commission. Each trip is an opportunity to experience God’s redemptive story in real time and return home with a renewed passion for making disciples.

3. Pastoral Couples Restoration & Soul Care Ministry

Ministry is beautiful, but it can also be brutal. We firsthand the weight of shepherding others while feeling empty ourselves. We’ve walked through seasons of exhaustion, isolation, and brokenness; wondering if we could keep going. But we also know the power of the gospel and the impact of times of renewal and refreshing.

This ministry was born out of our own journey. We don’t just care about pastors; we care about pastoral couples. Both husband and wife are called, both carry the burdens, and both need soul care. Through intentional retreats, coaching, and community, we provide a space for pastoral couples to breathe again—to reconnect with each other, refocus on their calling, and remember the joy of ministry. Don’t believe the lie you have to do this alone, take the next step to shepherd your soul.

4. Mentoring & Discipling The Next Generation

Young leaders are not just the future of the church; they are the present. We are committed to mentoring and discipling college students, seminarians, and young adults to be gospel-driven leaders who stand firm in their identity in Christ. Through residency discipleship and leadership coaching, we equip the next generation to live with gospel confidence and courage, as they embrace their mission in the kingdom of God.

We don’t just pass on information—we invest our lives in the next generation, walking with them as they learn to love Jesus, lead well and live the gospel. Our hope is to launch faithful leaders who multiply disciple-makers wherever God sends them.

5. Dyslexia Support Ministry for Children & Parents

Struggling to read should never mean struggling to belong. Having two children with dyslexia, we understand the unique challenges and emotional toll this journey can take on both kids and parents. Our Dyslexia Support Ministry offers hope and help to children with learning differences and the families who walk alongside them. We believe every child is made in the image of God, with unique gifts and a purpose to fulfill.

Through partnerships, tutoring, and parent education, we walk with families to ensure no child is left behind. We equip churches and caregivers to understand dyslexia, advocate well, and create gospel-centered environments where every child can learn, grow, and thrive in the love of Christ.
